2¢ - 3¢ Cdn. per word
* lower rates for creative non-fiction and fiction that has been carefully self-edited
** rates determined after a free, two-page (500 word) sample edit
Proofreading
Proofreading is the final stage before your work is released into the world. A proofreader looks for any last-minute grammar and punctuation changes, odd line breaks, heading styles, line length, typographical issues, etc.
At this stage rewrites are done and you are ready to publish.
